Spring Comes Early pt.1

Our clown car made the trip from Philly to Gainesville FL. In a scant of fourteen hours. The car was packed tight with gear and personnel, the roof decked out to the nines with bikes and wheels, doubling the height of the car itself.

Sleeping in the car was close to impossible, and it seemed like temperatures were not rising as we moved toward lower lattitudes. Snow still covered the ground as far south as both Carolinas. To our avail, as we cruised into our destination, warm rainy skies greeted us then cleared to gorgeous skies. We hardly settled into town before getting in the monkey suits and heading out out for a ride.
Like a pack of goofy animals sprung from a cage we bounded out onto the roads that were familiar to some and new to others. Canopies of moss covered live oaks covered the roads still wet and cool from the morning's showers. Beautiful.
The night saw us taking samples of the watering holes in town for a good while before we shut down in our host's house. Which is nothing short of fantastic, I should add.
